The EC Business and Innovation Centre of Attika is a non-profit organization, having as main mission to support the competitiveness and promote business innovations in SMEs; introduce new technologies; support the creation of new enterprises; provide to SMEs access to foreign markets and possibilities for internationalizing their activities; support enterprises to have access to private funding, while is collaborating with local, national and EU authorities for promoting and implementing relative EU and National policies.

BIC of Attika is activated in three main sectors:

a. Consulting Services covering a wide spectrum of consulting services to existing enterprises and new entrepreneurs, such as: Business plans; Feasibility Studies – Analyses; Investment Plans Studies; Feasibility Studies; Restructuring Studies; Sectoral reports; Marketing Plans; Access in Financial Resources; Access in Foreign Markets and Search for Partners at International level;Technology and Know-how Transfer; Monitoring of implementation and evaluation of investment projects; Implementation of Studies of European projects; Information - Guidance in specialized Operational subjects,

b) European Programmes, having long-lasting experience in the design, development planning, proposal writing, submission, implementation, follow-up, monitoring, management and evaluation of European competitive projects, in the framework of programmes and initiatives of the European Union, in collaboration with public and private institutions in EU. The projects are orientated in thematic fields as: Entrepreneurship; Internationalization of Enterprises; Sustainable Growth; Access to Funding; Regional Development; Promotion of Employment; Energy – Environment; Tourism – Culture, and

c) Business Incubation Services to new enterprises referring to Networking, Access to Finance, Marketing and Management of Knowledge. 


Role of PP in ACCELMED project

BIC of Attika having a great experience on supporting entrepreneurship in the fields of innovation, economic development, internationalization, access to funding and being member of a co-incubation service for companies (SoftLanding: exploring new markets, making international collaborations), will efficiently support the acceleration of SMEs’ growth through actions orientated in three axes:

a) Transnational access to funding, referring to actions of information and awareness raising, capitalization such as workshops and forums, 

b) Cross-landing & Internationalization services, referring to information, capitalization and use of existing communication channels and networks, and

c) Promotion of acceleration programme for stimulating potential growth of SMEs.

All actions will aim to provide a transnational support service to enterprises to improve access to finance, to international markets and to specific advice to growth.
